I'd say that depends on what sort of illustrations you have. (see below) If they are just line art, leave them B&W like in the Necromatic Feats PDF. If you have something that is digital or painting quality, then of course you'll want to showcase them in full color.

Oh, BTW, Necromatic Feats was a excellent freebie.

That is very true. Most color printers will even let you modify the settings to turn color off entirely so you are using only black ink. Problem is, or so it has been my experience, everytime you fire up your color printer it is going to eat up color ink to clear the jets. (Which is why I tend to use my laser printer more than my inkjet.)

For the frugal minded even turning color off is thus going to cost you lost ink and, as most are probably going to do that anyway, I just thought I'd point out the reasoning.

Conversely you could just use a laser printer, as I do. But if you're going to use color in a PDF then I say use the full spectrum. Not just blue or green, IMHO YMMV.
