What's my point? The reviewer covers your questions thoroughly in his review: he tells us he considered not getting it because he had the original product, that it doesn't have anything new beyond the D20 rules, and then goes on to say how much he liked them.

In other words, you know everything you need to about getting the product (or not getting, in this case). The fact that it isn't worth it for you to buy if you don't like D20 should be obvious to you.

This is really not a long review...it looks as if you've judged it by reading the capsule summary. That's the issue.
