"It does cost more to change the category of your SA's though"
Just to nitpick slightly, whilst it will generally cost more it doesn't have to. To expand on this - total cost in insight is going to vary between 0-10 depending upon how 'full' the SAs are. To change category there is the additional requirement that a total of 10 insight points are paid down; but if you have two SAs maxed out then you'll have satisfied that requirement already.
The thing to bear in mind here is that if you have maxed SAs then your character is experience frozen. Every session that you continue with those maxed SAs your character is missing out on several additional dice that would otherwise accrue to those SAs as they get triggered (this assumes that the SAs in question are relevant to the ongoing story of course, but that is a reasonable assumption since they wouldn't have got 'full' if they hadn't been involved in earlier parts of the adventure).
As a player you have to judge when is the best time to cash out SAs for Insight (and then stat bonuses) - its a trade of immediate effectiveness for longer term development and sometimes it can be a tricky decision. Once the story is done however and vengeance has been wreaked upon the Six Fingered Man, that finely judged decision just... goes away. No point keeping 'Hate the Six Fingered Man' now that he's dead, so pay it (and 'Become The Best Swordsman In Europe') down to zero and change it to something else - ideally it should be something that will be relevant for the next adventure in the campaign, so its probably a good idea to talk it over with the GM and the rest of the group.
