Converted from Phorums BB System
"Small dice are not better, but they might be more exciting.
-------------------------------
I'm not claiming that they are."
Yes, you were saying something about having small dice with their more frequent rollovers being a benefit somehow.
"However, unused bennies might also convert to XP, which gives a good chance of 5XP over 2 sessions.
-------------------------------
We need two presumations to get us to this point: That there are bennies left over and that the player rolls a 5 or a 6.
But that aside, are you saying that an average player gets bennies out to get rewards at the end? As you noted in your review, you didn't really see any reason to hoard them. You seem to be arguing my point, that players will save them out to advance faster..."
My statement covers your first paragraph. I don't know what this "gets bennies out" is... they sit there on the table all the time. I'm not saying players will or should hoard them. I'm saying that from time to time a player will end a session with unused bennies because, you know, they didn't use them. Therefore the average XP per session will actually be a bit more than 2. (You originally said a "level up" per 3 sessions, which would require average XP less tha 2 and contradicts what the book says.)
I think that's enough clarifying for one person. Anyone else with comments?
