They'd check these message boards and reviews and try to better their policy. If I owned Mongoose, I'd do such so more people would buy my books, not just continue firing out books that stink and watch guys like me say "I'd rather play X rules I already have than buy this book". Because seriously, does this book expand beyond d20 Call of Cthulu enough to merit $40? Someone who posted under my topic said no, more like $20. Dunno about you, but I have limited shelf space, and a book not worth it's cover price is not going to find a home there.
