As for the gameboard, our printer had informed us that many games are using lighter materials for boards, and pointed out Star Wars duels (some CCG's even use paper as a board, but we wouldn't do that). We knew we'd have a lot of cards (more than most board games, and higher quality with no true repeats) which add to the weight of the game and where the real umph lies. As evidenced by overwhelmingly positive convention player feedback, the material of the board didn't really impact tha actual fun or gameplay. So, when faced with a decision between board thickness and deck content/play-richness we chose the latter. But your points are well taken and we will always be keeping our options open - thanks very much for your review and your wonderful comments!
