Well I should warn everyone that the game is designed for multiplay - after all social interaction is the real strength of tabletop gaming. The solo rules work in a mechanical sense, and I admit I had fun playing it solo, but the real joy comes in having a full game.

Also, there's something magical when you cross the 2-3 player threshold. A sort of dynamic in all games that you have with 3 or more that you don't have with just two. I guess it's because of the fact that making shifty deals and alliances is pointless when you know you have but one opponent and you both know this galaxy's not big enough for the two of you!
