Based on the information provided in the review, I'd guess that the book has plenty of non-d20 scope, given that these are plot/character driven episodes.

A little conversion work might be required, and certainly a fair amount of improv, but I'm highly tempted to buy a copy based on what it's setting out to do. And I don't play D&D or d20.
