I agree. A fair and fun GM can really make this game shine. I've run into some GMs who come into the game playing favorites or with an axe to grind. This is definitely the wrong game for that nonsense!

When I run Amber and have novice players, I like to use that same method as well. It really gets them involved as they try to figure out what is going on.
