"Would the Benedict with godlike Warfare, as described in the RPG, have fallen for Corwin's trick with the grass in The Guns of Avalon? If he's supposed to be able to spot invisible assassins, I'd be tempted to answer "no", and THEN I have a problem."

I've always taken the over-the-top approach of First Rank Characters (Fiona, Corwin, Gerard, Benedict) as a way to calm down potential powergaming, god-killing-ad&d-style munchkins. For me it said "don't even try something stupid".

So I got what I thought whas the message, but never took it on the letter.
