The planet waking up would be quite catastrophic.

According to the ECS, the three Progenitor wyrms ruled the world. Together they discovered/created The Prophecy, an item said to bring about the transformation of the world.

At the end of the war between the greatest of all wyrms, the prophecy was shattered and dispersed across the world. This aslo shattered the world into 3 distinct regions.

Siberys became the ring that surrounds the planet (Heaven in my opinon). Khyber was bound into the darkest depths (Hell). Eberron healed the world and became one with it.

Siberys called forth the next era of dragons. Eberron called forth all manners of life. and Khyber spat out the fiends.

Thus you see how Eberron waking up would destroy the world. Great Plot of an Epic caimpaign. (Preventing this from happening, not making it happen)
