I haven't seen the art in question, but I am certainly hoping the above was with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

If the art editor is only fired he can regard himself as lucky. The last employee to fail has been kept chained to their desk in the editorial suite, their lifes' blood being used to thicken the inks used by our cover artists.
