Classical & Heroic Greece and D&D

Hi,

I thank Mr. Morgan for a) writing quite a nice review of this game (that I didn't know existed) and for b) referencing my online D&D conversion Heroes of Delphi.

Can I just put in here that there is a big difference between heroic age Greece (Troy, Jason, Hercules and so on, from 1800 - 1100 BC) and Classical Greece (Pericles, Xenophon, Sparta and Alexander from 600 - 300 BC and beyond). Its a little like getting Anglo-Saxon Britain and Tudor England mixed up.

My supplement is most definately classical, and although it does have a few elements in it of use to the player of Gates of Troy, what is needed is another supplement that uses D&D as a basis for Heroic Greece.

It could be done quite easily I think, but if I ever did that I'd not go near feats (sorry - I don't like them!!) and have to base my supplement on 3.0. I'm not buying 3.5 just to write a supplement! Other than that it would be an entertaining challenge!
