Slaine, from Mongoose, would also be pretty good for a historical based Arthur. Again, not Roman, but it's very very Celtic, and in many ways, Slaine is very much like the King Arthur of the Welsh stories. (Only Slaine is in Ireland).

OTOH, Slaine does have some comic-book-ish aspects, like the talking parrot and the incredible hulk style flip outs.
