Converted from Phorums BB System

1. it's easier to make your own stuff in this game (you can make a few things before you start paying xp for them), reducing the need to steal and hoard it.

2. I was pretty bitter about the campaign contest, since I figured there'd be 10000 final fantasy rip offs and a bunch of unprintable stuff, but reading this I got the sense that I'd been beaten fairly. He presents a complete metaphysics that doesn't strain to cover any of the stuff in the book. Having a lot fo stuff in here isn't points against the book, for once, but points for it: each thing derives naturally from the basic metaphysics. This world NEEDS a lot of variance or we'd all be screaming about wasted potential.

The book is not without its flaws, and the published adventures are typically awful, but of all the d20 books since Third Ed came out, this is the first 10/10. I hung up my dnd dm's hat two years ago, but this is too solid a setting not to run it, so I'm starting this week.
