I think you've made some good points!

However I wouldn't call RM and MERP "heartbreakers", they were successful games in their day (oh and BTW, I love them both!).

When I use the word "heartbreaker" I use it the way mr.Edwards uses it - I read his essay on this for the first time today. Very interesting!
