Converted from Phorums BB System
To make things worse, many of the region maps are inconsistent with each other (roads that go in different directions depending on which region map you're using). And the scales are incorrect on some of the region maps, too. All of this would be mitigated by the inclusion of a fully detailed foldout map of the continent.
But this is old news and thankfully a couple of readers have done the legwork and there are now downloadable fan-made maps on the web (try the Eberron boards at WotC for details).
Still doesn't entirely solve the problem, though, as printing those maps out at a decent enough size to use becomes very expensive and difficult...
By the way, I also found this review to be very good - I agree with most of your observations, including the complaints about lack of floorplans etc for lightning rail and airships. Especially as Keith Baker has said he can't imagine which upcoming Eberron book would fill those gaps. What are they thinking? This stuff is basic and essential! Of course DMs and players are going to want to explore stuff like this more fully!
