I agree. But I just think that it could have been done much better. L5R has a similar system with it's Void stat that works much better. In order to perform the heroics you need in TROS, the game makes you a very very non-heroic character. I object to this style of gaming. As a player, I'd much rather be a heroic character all the time, and a little bit more heroic when it counts, as opposed to TROS where you're a simpleton most of the time, and a superhero for one instance. It just doesn't make sense. They could have done it so much better. How about adding a fatigue stat so when the character really needed the extra punch, he could spend fatigue? There are many things they COULD have done, but didn't.

It's just sad because with a little effort (something they obviously didn't put into this game), this game had a lot of potential. But it's just a big waste.
