I belong to a Basic Roleplaying mailing list, on which I found out an interesting detail about the availability of the Chaosium monographs.

Their website software is configured so that, as soon as a product is out of inventory, it's no longer listed in their website. This means that, if there's a run on a monograph (like this one) and they sell out their copies in stock, they no longer list the product on their website at all.

This is quite frustrating for fans, and presumably also for Chaosium, and I think they're taking steps to address the issue. However, they're quite a small operation now with not all that much in the way of funds, apparently.

In short, if you don't see "Cthulhu Invictus" listed on their site when you check, or one of their other monographs, that doesn't mean they don't have it available, just that there aren't any copies currently sitting on their shelves. Email them, or just check back in a little while, and you might find it available again (for example, it is now currently listed as available as I write this).
