Sorry, you are correct about the author of M&M...

And don't get me wrong, I useed to find Hero to be great fun...
especially around first and second editions, when the page count was a LOT smaller!

Fourth edition contained a lot of bloatware, as they first tried to make it the game for everything BUT Superheroes, but I could at least read the thing, and that huge page count included the sourcebook material...

Fifth edition now has an erratta list longer than the RULES used to be, and reading a lot of the Sidebar comments Mr. Long puts in gives me the impression that Fun is simply not allowed in Hero, any more, because it wouldn't be 'play balanced'!

And yet, if anything, the play balance seems worse than it was prior to fourth edition!
