Converted from Phorums BB System

When I printed it out, at work (and that was, admittedly WITH the typo corrections, and not in 2-column format), it came out to over 50 pages... and I seem to remember that 1st edition was only 64!

That's not the errata. That's the FAQ. They're two different documents. The 5e errata is 8 pages.

The FAQ is quite long, but Steve puts pretty much everything he gets asked into it, so it's a lot more comprehensive than a typical FAQ. It's really more of an AQ.

Things like saying that you can't have Growth, always on, but that you instead have to buy 'Growth-like powers', and take 'Growth-like Didsadvantages', if you want to do Godzilla monsters...

This is because using Powers to reflect size leads to totally nonsensical constructs like mice that cost 500 points because they have massive levels of Shrinking w/ Always On. Then you have bizarre consequences like only the most powerful wizards being able to summon tiny, harmless animals.

Bunches and bunches of tiny little time bombs whose primary effect is to remind you that this is an exercise in Game Balance, and not anything you're supposed to have fun with!

What to you is a time bomb is, to me, balanced design. What to you is a college lecture is, to me, helpful advice about how the system works.
