I live with two gay men. I couldn't categorically define either of them, or any of their boyfriends that I've met, as a butch or a femme. Sure, you get the major macho men and the wussie nancy boys -- just like you can find among straight guys -- but in my experience, most gay men are somewhere in between -- just like most straight guys. In fact, the only difference between straight guys and gay guys that I've consistently seen in every gay man I've met is -- surprise -- they like to have sex with other men.

...okay, and they own more shoes. I mean, really, who needs more than three pairs?
