...So I see the header on this review and the basic rundown, and this book sounds really good. Before I start reading the actual review I'm wondering, will this be a resource/historical book not aligned to any particular game, or an actual game all unto its self? Then I read the review and realise, f..k, this is just another damned D20 book. D20 is a blight, a virus, a cancre on role playng gaming. Enough D20. Let it burn. Give us rules that make some kind of sense when compared to the rules of the real world. If all future games are part of the D20 franchise, we will have drastically dumbed down RPGing in general. Wake up people. Vive la Differance! You're all smarter than that. I'm sorry, but D20 makes me despair.
