i kinda liked the second "link". a nice way to approach vr interfaces. but i think that personaly i would prefsent it more as floating lists and windows when a person i working towards him "bookmarks" and similar. ogl cybernet have a kind of system thats similar in many ways. but the core issue is that cyberspace is no longer the single domain of the binary jokeys. theses days anything for phonecalls to anything else travels actross the net. and shaodwrun is in a way covering this in the latest books. the system have been streamlined to a set of numbers. infosearch rules presented in the matrix sourcebook covers everyone doing it, not just deckers. and the target:matrix covers all kinds of activity on the matrix, social and others (even virtual brothels).
