On the Point I have to agree wie Dan und others.

Not only its a cliche - it "helps" keeping
the cliche alive.
The bad thing with cliches isnt, that they exist - tha bad thing is, that there are people
who think cliches are true.
Sometimes this does not matter - but i think
it matters on topics like mental derangements.
There are enough people who suffer mental
derangements much more people dont know what
it means to suffer such a derangement - so many
of them are ignorant, intollerant etc pp towards
the deranged ones.
So I think it is important - even in a "Dark"
gameworld - to give correct facts.
And for me personally its a pity that a
succesfull company like White Wolf ist not
able to do correct research after als these
years - I think if they startover new they
should have corrected the old mistakes and
not do them again.

But maybe this is just the dumb opinion
of an european who uses WOD (1.3 and 2.0)
products to play in a "realistic world of
gray" because he thinks, that the world
already hast enough dark and bad sides. For me
its insane to make a world darker and so on -
and many players of WOD products in Europe
who make the world darker to play within it
are just naive kids :-)
