Given the number of important comics characters who have "Missile Deflection", or a variant thereof, I really wonder how they arrived at the decision to exclude it from 'Sidekick'!

Yes, it's easy enough to import back in, from most previous editions...
but for a product that's supposed to attract new players to the system, this seems a really strange call...

Especially given some of the other things that they included, that are encountered in the 'source material' far less often!
