Remember that V:TM revised often made a point about leaving rumors as exactly that: rumors. The new "icky-sticky Metaplot" you fear so much can't be "reseted", al least not like last time, because this time there's no huge world-wide sects to talk about, and Clan memebership is not as important as it used to be. Granted, there's still signature characters and such, but now they are just going to be Vampire's characters and settings, as important or influencial as any others you might think of. So please be cool, and please wait untill the game line reaches at least a year of publication before you start reading omens of doom for us V:TR players.
