The best way to play starwars is using the swd20 revised rulebook. You have obviously not even glanced inside the book; it is NOT the same watered down d20 system of dnd. It is heavily overhauled specifically for starwars. I have both the d6 and the d20 ((revised)) and the d20 is much much better.

The d6 is way, way boring. Every class ends up doing the same boring stuff. The force powers are innane; and useless.

ANd here is the defining point; in the d6, a jedi char can never do the majority of the things a jedi in the movies can. Not so in the d20, which was built specifically from the movies standpoint.
