I had a whole chapter on the pre-magic history (aka pre 308 AD) but the editor cut it. The book was originally about 420 pages with a lot more historical information. I am planning on releasing this either on our site as support information or on RPGNow as a PDF.

For the record, I am a fan of the Republic. The punic wars were also very interesting and I think Hispania would make a lively setting for this period.

Is there material to cover the Roman Republic era in RI? This wasn't mentioned in the review. I think the Punic Wars or the Spartacus revolt would be good fodder for a campaign.
