Oh, and I'd like to congratulate on your handling of the racism issue - the work is racist, but you cope with the issue in a very capable manner.

Lastly, maybe I've got some sort of stereotype in my head about Puritans, but it seems to me in some of the stories that Kane's Puritanism is little more than a flimsy pretext, and he seems far from devout in some of the books. Still, loved the books, enjoyed the review!
