If it's of such quality that a real editior wouldn't let it onto a real bookshelf without major revisions, it's just bad form to charge money for it. Giving it away for free? Sure. If it's going to cost money, though, it should be professional in every way.

This applies to all RPGs, of course, not just "indy" ones and not just PDFs.
