Most of Sir Didymus' points are taken care of with the new marine codex. Dreadnoufghts only have the weapon options available in the kit (plus the multi-melta). Razorbacks can only take the options the plastic kit comes with and so on.

Most of the codex units are now available in their entirety in single boxes.

I appreciate that this has meant that many options have now been removed, but one cannot have it both ways...
