Hey, I'm genuinely interested AND committed to Castles & Crusades, and I bought one of the Spartan 300!

In all seriousness, while the boxed set is a complete game in and of itself, and is perfectly playable as is from the box, there will be much more forthcoming when the hardcover is released. But, for a rules-light game like Castles & Crusades, you can't get much more rules-light than what's in the box set. Think of it. The Trolls cut down a 70 or so page SRD into the equivalent of 35 pages. That's a remarkable feat for a game system that's already rules-light. And even better? It still works and it works well. Can anyone say the same about d20 Fantasy?
