The whole point of Seven (not "the Seven" incidently) is create fear and confusion. of course you don't "get" Seven. Nobody does. It's the authors' intention that you don't get Seven. The hows and whys of Seven have been left intentionally blank, at least for now.

That's what makes them so scary. It's not that they attack other Vampires on sight. It's that they attack for without any disecernable motivation or insigating factors.
