Ah, I may have misunderstood your point. You asked why this was a good deal, when you got the same thing for free in 3E. The implication that I read there is that you <I>didn't</I> get the same thing for free in 4E, and thus that you were being charged for something in 4E that you got for free in 3E, which is clearly not the case.

So if you didn't mean that, I guess I don't understand your original question. You ask, "If this is a big selling points for the GM screen... why is it that we were getting this for free with 3E?" To which the answer is, "For the same reason you get it free in 4E -- because it's an extremely useful list."
