Greetings,

Nah, it's not just you. . . unfortunately.

>>Anyway, as much as I enjoy learning about obscure B grade movies your reviewing style is getting harder to tolerate. <<

Actually, if you follow the link to the other review, and read the HTML I state therein that the file I was using to create the PDF imploded. Apparently I tried to import one too many image files and it decided enough was enough. Luckilly I had two test PDFs that I could upload.

However my efforts to recover the file meant I lost too much time to properly edit the working HTML that I had created for posting to RPGnet. Not an excuse, just how things happened.

Thus with only two or three working files and not enough time to start over since Halloween was fast approaching I opted to take what I had in the can and submit it.

Talk about misjudging how reviews go up around these parts!

That let be a lesson to all the reviewers out there!

I've actually since gone in and re-written large portions of the review but, to be perfectly honest, all but forgot about it not being queued up to go live until two to three weeks after I submitted it (and thus well after Halloween) or could have re-submitted it. Shannon is very nice about that sort of thing, at least when you PM him in advance.

So, yeah, if this review seems a bit thick and hard to read that's probably a fair assessment as it's really a draft posted in a hasty effort to get the review submitted with time enough to see it go live before Halloween.

My bad.

On the bright side, the review does unintentionally capture the experience that is Horror Rises from the Tomb. At first you think it's not tolerable and want to eject it, but something about it is compelling so you keep watching until the final credits roll and you are shaking your head wondering how in the world you managed to actually just sit through that entire crazy flick.

Sort of. ;-)

Kind Regards,

Kester Pelagius
