Feng Shui was actually intimately involved in the genesis of Wushu. When I was first introduced to FS, I was told that "The more over the top your action is, the more likely it is to succeed." However, that's not technically true. FS just doesn't _penalize_ you for stunts. So, I started thinking about how a set of rules could actively reward crazy stunts with an increased chance of success.

That, and I hate initiative even Feng Shui's relatively streamlined shots system.
