Adventure doesn't emphasize it nearly to the level of Pulp Fu, however. Adventure is really a _pulp_ game - the powers available are solidly in the genre. Pulp Fu is too, but it's based off the more free-wheeling mechanics and genre used in Wu Shu, and uses the same system. So whilst reading the flavour text they might seem similar, the differences between the two in play are great.
