I also find that my taste in pulps leans more towards the Noir crime drama than pre-supers stuff like Adventure! Having said that, Adventure! has a well-deserved place on my Bookshelf o' Fame (tm).

I think I may be a little less apologetic about my preference for recent sources (Indiana Jones, The Shadow, etc) over the originals. But then, I run most of my Pulp games in the world of The Matrix
