I went to a hobby shop, bought a wooden tray (it has about 1 1/2 inch sides) and glued some felt to the bottom. It cost me about $5, and neatly contains any kind of die when you roll it.

Plus, it makes a neat "pockety pockety click" sound when you roll dice in it. :-)
