I'll admit that it is the bad apples too. I personally think a lot of cops tend to be nice, and also tend to take their job seriously. Its just tha tnow and again, you get folks who are just bad people, think they have status over others, and all that other stuff.

FOr example, Labor Day weekend last yar, my brothers and I had a scuffle. THe police department took a good hour to get to our house afterw e had called. And then when they were leaving, an offbeat comment resulted in my fdad being injured, and my brothers in cuffs.

More cops showed up, and they were nice. But the other two guys were insulting my father, we got charged with civil disobedience, and well, generaly bad stuff. This si in Salt Lake City, UT even. What its like in LA or New York with the bad cops just makes me scared as hell.

It only takes a few bad apples to spoil the bunch I guess. But yeah, personal experience, and trades. I still respect the cops and whatnot. Its just that after stuff like that, you will be a bit more wary I think.
