Dear Matt,

I wasn't being critical of your review. If you liked the product, great. That's your right and your opinion. If I came across as being critical of your review or your opinion, I apoligize. It was unintentional.

I am, however, critical of RPG.Net allowing only positive reviews of products they are trying to sell. If my review wasn't long enough, or if it was flawed in some way, I would have expected RPG.NET to get back to me, or to at least respond to one of my numerous inquiries, suggesting how I could fix the perceived problems and resubmit the review.

RPG.NET seems to be extremely bias regarding items they are trying to sell in their associated Webstore. While you, Matt, may have given an honest positive opinion, RPG.NET has stacked the deck by ONLY publishing positive opinions of the product. Anything critical of a book they are selling is not put up on their site. Regretably, this bias and censorship of negative reviews makes your review an AD for a product they are trying to sell.

I wonder how trustworthy RPG.NET reviews are now? It seems that everything they put on their site needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming opening of RPGGEEK.COM, sister site to BOARDGAMEGEEK.COM, where we can at last get a full spectrum of honest reviews, both positive and negative. Then we can be completely informed and buy the products we really want and need, and not just the products RPG.NET is trying to sell.

Jack
