Uh, well again, I'll have to respectfully disagree with you. My arguments about PHDs and intelligence have NOTHING to do with the Hero system, they are based on my life experiences of spending time with, gaming with and working with people with PHDs. Many PHD people with PHDs are significantly smarter than average. Quite a few are not: OUTSIDE OF THEIR PARTICULAR FIELD OF STUDY. What a PHD says is that you know quite a lot about something very specific. "Intelligence" is a very general term, and something that represents far more than skill or aptitude in one area.

Our discussion has ranged very far from Hero and Babylon 5. Do you have ANY evidence to support the claim that Hero can't do a B5 game? Or even that it can't do a low powered game in general? Or how about listing some games that do it better. If not, then I have to say that I'm done with this discussion.
