The D&D tie-in is just that valuable. Honestly, if they're not gonna do that, i'd say why cripple the book with dependency at all? Just make it a stand-alone RPG book.

[Which is what they should've done, anyway, for a licensed property with the potential crossover appeal of B5. I'll wager they've pretty much eliminated the possibility of non-gamer B5 fans trying out RPGs because of this book.]
