Naw. I sorta wanted this too, which would make the idea of multiclassing so much easier than some of the ideas that have been tossing around the net. But I understand why they went this route. Many of the classes are pretty front-loaded -- you get most of your abilities right from the start, so there's no staggered progression in getting your abilities -- you just get better with each level. A first level assassin doesn't have to wait to be good with poisons, but at higher levels they have it right from the start.
