True, but if the Daeva get's Ini and has surprise, the Nos will have a penalty to the roll. If the Daeva has a high Composure, and he will if he's min-maxing (Composure is a combat trait), the Nos is relatively screwed.

But, that is taking into account Disciplines again. I don't do that because you can't count on a Nos having Nightmare, a Ventrue having Dominate, or even a Mekhet having Auspex. In my example munchkin, the Daeva didn't have Majesty!

I'm talking about a powergaming uber-kill all monsters melee badass munchkin. That character is made with the Daeva of this system before you take Disciplines into account, because Daeva are the ones who can get the +1 Dex due to Clan.

In fact, I equated them to Brujah before the Toreador of VtM due to what they could mechanically be used for.
