I'm somewhat inclined to agree, but probably wouldn't put it so strongly.

I think my experience - and remember, first try at MMORPGs - is that if you go online and can find a group of communicative, sensible people with a good spread of abilities and do your stuff to keep you moving forward, it's fun. If not, you end up wandering aimlessly cos you can't really do anything useful.

It has made a difference that my controller now has a kind of stealth mist - I can explore more places on my own and probably not get splatted.
