Here is my 2 cents.
As for the immaturity level and “bad writing” it has always been my impression that Battlelords was a book written for those in the military. The way they design tactics, and the way the Mega corporations are ran, makes me believed that young enlisted men were the target. I would like to defend the statement that the game appeals to 9th grades, but in all truth, I started playing the game in 9th grade, so I can’t say anything to that.

Death comes easily in Battlelords, and every character is different due to the when I was growing up tables. You can make characters over and over again, and make them almost the same exact character, but if anyone ever rolls Genetic Perfection, you can rely on them attempting to live for a long time.

I’ve never had any problems with the writing, the art, or any other aspects of the book. The biggest problem, I’ve ever had with the book, is that it is poorly built. With the flipping that needs to be done, and the pages that need to be flipped, the book should have been bound better. The pages begin to fall apart if the user isn’t very careful. That is one of the things my players claim I am anal about is how they handle my books, but I intend for them to last as long as possible.
