RE: Immaturity and bad writing

Converted from Phorums BB System
Ships: SSDC hasn't really released a whole lot of details about the starships, since it only recently began moving up on the pri list with the other books actually gettting published. With the ground vehicles book scheduled for the next release, the starships should be the next one.
Skills and Explosives: While what you say is true, the characters could in fact make their own, players know that most people don't take chemistry, and even doing so does not automatically confer a knowledge of demolitions. In fact, demolitions, including makeshift explosives, is covered in a seperate skill.
Munchkins: Yes, i can say that they are never fun to play. And they are never fun to play with.
Again, the writing really isn't that bad. Much of the DND writiting is far, far worse, and i can't think of another hardcore Sci-Fi RPG that even comes close to BL.
Superheroes: Who hides from muggers? BL is lethal, sure, but your hyperbole doesn't reflect the reality. If BL's combat system runs to close to reality for you, try joining the service. People dies, soldiers die, superheros die. If they don't (or worse, can't) die, then they aren't really superheroes.
