Seanchai,

Here's what I really don't understand. I start a thread expressly and obviously to congratulate some folks I worked with for producing a great book, and taking the relatively brave decision to produce it free of crunch. Okay, an obviously nice, friendly, congratulatory post.

And then you come along, split hairs, try to effectively prove part of my post incorrect, and try to educate me that there are other PP products out there with crunch (well, gee, having helped write them, I never knew that...), and that therefore the book doesn't exist in a vacuum even though that's painfully obvious to anyone who's been involved in rpgs and rpg writing, and no one (least of all me) said anything to the contrary.

So, honestly, I've got to ask, "Why?" What did you hope to get out of it or achieve?

cheers!
Colin
